Michael Savage – Stem Cell Scientist Says: “No need for EMBRYONIC stem cells in researching cures”

“Science must NOT contradict with humanity” says Michelle, an Adult Stem-Cell Researcher, on a call to The Savage Nation – Host, Michael Savage An embryo “that which grows,” (the proper Latinate form would be embryum) is a multicellular diploid eukaryote in its earliest stage of development, from the time of first cell division until birth, hatching, or germination. In humans, it is called an embryo from the moment of implantation until the end of the 8th week, whereafter it is instead called a fetus.

@kazuya1196 I’m not a hypocrite. I don’t see a problem with killing babies, really. They don’t develop human tendancies until they’re at least nine months old. Therefore, I see no difference between killing a fetus and killing a baby under nine months. See? I’m not a hypocrite. I just happen to think fully-grown people with personalities and unique brains are more important than a meat sack that has less intelligence than a fucking cat.

@Skynamo …..interesting way to put it. Death for thought crime. Why is choice dangerous ? Is it fair for so many to suffer ?

  3. Comments  Skynamo   |  Sunday, 24 April 2011 at 10:17 pm

    @AutoBahnForever
It should be made law to execute people that think as dangerously as the likes of you, my friend.

@GeneralHoohah i agree completley, too many people with no knowledge of biology whatsoever have an opinion on this.

What is the greater evil ? An unwanted, neglected baby and child ……or abortion ? The world is overpopulated.

This is a woman’s choice…………period and is legal. If made illegal it will still happen only in an unsafe manner.

Once she said she is religious, I have to say FUCK adult stem cell and long live embryonic stem cell.

This is why you shouldn’t include religion is any arguments. -.-

    @elperropatron That was…civilized.

I am so sick of people who are so ignorant, they don’t know the difference between a lump of cells and a fetus that has actually formed into a living creature. There is a HUGE gap between the two. And if you actually believe that a small lump of cells only 2 months old, is a person… then you’re either high or just stupid, and shouldn’t even be allowed to speak. If its a religious belief then take it somewhere else. Separation of church and state. DON’T involve religion in political debates!!

Michael Savage is a piece of shit who should be strangled with his own entrails after being beaten unconscious with his own severed limb.

This whole debate is stupid. Pro-lifers equate pro-choice with abortion.

Pro-choice means having abortion as an OPTION. It means not having an outrageous law preventing abortion in the many cases where it is a very good option. Not talking about killing a 27-week old fetus, here. I’m talking about flushing out a pile of cells that’s been growing for a few weeks, IF THAT. And this is only an OPTION. IT BARELY EVER HAPPENS.

But no, pro-lifers assume the worst and argue over it.

@kazuya1196 even tho there may be neural acitivity in the brain it doesnt mean that there are any soul into it, thus, there is no ‘human person’ to think of.

@SkaRocksYea I’m not asking you permission to adress a topic, dummy, mind your own business or follow the convo before butting in!

Have a great safe & legal prochoice day!

@ambrocal You’re a fool. No one is talking about sperm or unfertilized eggs.

I can’t help but laugh at what I sent you a while back and what you wrote back. Just look at life this way: it’s one big laugh and we have need to every now and then so we don’t all go insane. :-)

I’m glad you’re pro choice now ferrer :-)

If only you would’ve been aborted, we wouldn’t have had this conversation. :-)

how come savege never talk about abortion?………………abortion is the issue to talk about

  18. Comments  Funmakinmoney   |  Monday, 25 April 2011 at 6:15 am

I think this should simply be a discussion that does not involve GOD believing opinion. Since we all know that people of GOD are beings that run on a DELUSIONAL mind set there opinion is null and void. Tired of GOD believers setting back the push forward for science and discovery. God doesn’t heal amputees but I guarantee science will. Simply get your great GOD to solve the starvation problem in Africa. If GOD can not do this perhaps then man can. GOD doesn’t exist so I say all forward.

How do I know? Because it’s in any scientific report, duh! Without an active cortex no being can feel pain and a fetus’ cortex doesn’ START being active at 24 weeks, then certain pain cells are also needed, and not before 29 wks a fetus have those!
Again, what’s the fuss about the heartbeat? only ignorant pro lifers make fuss about it.
For the rest of the post yes, why not, but anyway keep abortion legal and safe!

  20. Comments  ferrer65   |  Monday, 25 April 2011 at 6:31 am

How do you know it dosen’t feel pain? When a pregnant woman argues with someone and becomes very upset, the baby can be born with problems with the Nervous system. why if he dosen’t feel anything? at eight weeks a baby has a heart beat. If we can get stem cells from other places that isn’t embryonic and is just as good or better, then why not go with that?

  21. Comments  kazuya1196   |  Monday, 25 April 2011 at 7:08 am

That kind of reasoning is very nihilistic and dangerous. Fetus over 27 weeks have neural activity in the brain, and babies do not have cognitive abilities until they are a few months old. How do you justify that killing babies outside the womb is illegal but legal inside the womb using the same logic? Lobsters cannot feel pain yet many vegans and liberals do NOT eat them yet these same vegans and liberals you’ll find at pro-choice rallies. Hypocrisy at its finest.

“sentient” is a sci-fi term now? lol. gotta love those fundies.
I’m a huge savage fan, but I don’t agree with everything he says. People need to learn to think for themselves, listen to all arguments from all sides, and form their own opinion rather than just blindly following… whether its religion, a politician, a radio commentator.. whatever. THINK… FOR… YOURSELF… they haven’t made that illegal yet.

  23. Comments  ambrocal   |  Monday, 25 April 2011 at 7:29 am

yes it’s a bit more advanced stage than your sperm, but still as potential person (do you feel guilty each time you jerk off?).

Unfortunately you don’t have the power to abort me, but resorting to call pll names only shows you’re out of argumentation and cannot remain civil.

Have a safe and legal abortion day cliff!

  24. Comments  cliffw77   |  Monday, 25 April 2011 at 8:16 am

It’s quite a bit more of a potential person than my sperm, if left alone it will become a person….regaurdless if you think it’s “sentient” (what are we using the science of star trek now?) It is a human being. Would you like me to abort you? I don’t think you’re human, I think you’re a zombie, Go suck up to your college professor a little more Zombie.

  25. Comments  ambrocal   |  Monday, 25 April 2011 at 8:19 am

No cliff i didn’t miss any point, but you did butt in without following, I never said because something doesn’t feel pain it’s not alive nor that an embryo is not alive, or is not a human being.

Abortion kills but what does it kill? As long as this mass of human cells doesn’t have a functioning cortex (starting 24 wks) it’s not a person, it’s not sentient, it has no awareness, and no waves showing any sign of cortex activity.
It’s just a potential person, as much as your sperm.
