Jason Altmire voted n favor of spending bills that contained more than 11,000 earmarks for his pet projects including $2 million dollars for a personal library and private office for one of his colleagues after accepting $21,000 in campaign contributions from the congressmen. ASCR trials have killed and damaged many people as well as failed miserably in MOST cases. Some show promising results. ESCR trials are about to begin shortly.. they have been nearly impossible in the US due to the Bush admin and the morons like Melissa Hart. No fed money means no research and all the cell lines that were Bush approved were bad or contaminated… still trials will begin shortly with new lines in other countries and even 1 in the US.

The “myth of embryonic research” .. there is NO myth.. it is a fact that shows incredible promise for mankind on a huge number of medical issues. Pan – Not trying to be disrespectful. But after 10 years of Embryonic Stem Cell Research, it has not produced any…let me say that again, any positive results, to date. However, Adult Stem Cell Research has. The Adult SCR needs to be expanded, so we can use the technology, now, for those that need it. And not wait for a pipe-dream.
